Mekong is a Thai restaurant with 2 stores operating in Feilding and in Summerhill Palmerston North. When New Zealand entered the initial stage of lockdown, we knew we had to think and act fast about how we could operate during the pandemic as we had no web presence for our restaurant. During the lockdown period, we met (virtually) with the team at Yorb to discuss getting a website for each location up and running. In no time, we were up and running with secure online payments, a full menu display, contactless delivery, and a beautiful website. We’ve seen great results for our business, we saw an increase in sales in both Feilding and Palmerston North. We continue to see good results in our new e-commerce platform for our business. When we approached Yorb for a redesign, we were working on a deadline. We needed a platform that was based on cutting-edge technology, scalable, agile, responsive, and, easy to be managed internally without creating additional overheads for the ICT Team.
